-sunday-

what a game we played... my bro and i went for fuel(cell) in the morning and it ended at 10.30. my church is at payalebar and it is extremely close to SBC(Singapore Basketball Association). without much breakfast, i went to play a game, against the australians.

when everybody have met, we changed and did our warm-ups. After the previous game was over, they gave us the ball and told us that we had only 2 minutes. 2 MINS? that was like so short. we only did like a few lay ups and shots like 2 per person and the game started.

the game we played, i would say it was horrible. the first quarter almost everybody was blur and we did several fast breaks but, the finish off was terrible. majority of our fast breaks missed. for me, i was like super slow, as in reaction. i don't know whether is it im hungry, have not done my 'big business' before the match like what i always do before training, too nervous, which i don't think i am, or no energy to burn as i had a 'burning' sensation in my stomach the moment i ran on court.

the australians were not really strong and i think we could have won them. like what mr koh said, we are playing their game instead of them playing ours. there were some tough 15 year old boys but still we should have beat them. Anglican beat the same opponent with about 20 points. but the day they played not al the australians in that team were there. what does this mean?

my leg was injured on that day(which is still injured now) and maybe that was why i didn't play well? coach bandaged my leg but it sort of prevented the blood from flowing, causing my leg to my damn tired. worst, it was my left leg that was injured, how to do right-hand lay-up? sigh...

i think what really overcame us was fear, fear of the word 'Australian'? this usually make us think they are big, but in actual fact, their overall height is shorter than us.

some bad things happened recently, friendly match against henderson sec was cancelled due to some problems they had. my 2.4 run today was also cancelled due to the down pour of rain. today we had friendly match against jurong west and we beat them 99 - 40. the sad thing is that i sprained* my leg. sec 2 played very little and i think we didn't play very well. later, after ball drills and stuffs, we played match against each other we drew lots and i my team was last... we won wei sheng's team. later i joined my bro's team which is made up of peter, ian, desmond, gaddiel and i. we played with remus' team. fun and exciting match.

sunday, we gonna vs australians. hope we learn something so that we can improve. oh.. by the way, can somebody tell me what a sprain is like? i need to identify whether my leg is sprained.

*don't whether sprain or not.

friendly match || Back to top

tmr we have a friendly match with Henderson sec. the sad thing is that we got oral examination. this will delay us from playing the match. sigh... hopefully we can complete is fast and return to our game. sec ones are going to play first, maybe sec 2s gonna play at 2nd quarter. although we have a match, but study is more important than basketball so, i guess i have concentrate on the oral before basketball.

-yesterday-

raining again. what a pain man! but at least something that i have been waiting for very long finally came- jersey. it is a black and white DOS reversible jersey. at last i have my very own school jersey. now i also do not have to put a "#?" under THE PLAYER.

as it was raining, we had to do physical training. we ran 10 rounds up to 4 level and to another stairs and down to level 1. next, we did skipping. 250 on each leg and 500 on both. then we did pumping, sit-ups, etc. we went to hall after physical and played half an hour match. got cramps on thighs and the game wasn't good. we only played 2 matches.

i was damn tired to after revision for maths and science, i was super tired and wash up go to sleep. i lied on the bed and was felt so comfortable.

-today-

i slept to well yesterday and i couldn't wake up this morning. my legs was super pain. it felt more than aches although it was just aches..-.-! There is 2.4 run tmr and i gotta rest. i hope that my cough isn't that bad anymore and hope my injured leg( got it on monday) won't hurt so much when i run. aiming to get at least 10 min. God, help me in that!
