Job clean and done. || Back to top

It's been a year and I'm proud that it's done again.

I sat on the chair and faced my reflection. As I waited for the man, I visualised my future appearance. Finally, the man came, he requested for my desired style and I told him. Then, the process began, he stroked my head with the vibrating razor machine. First stroke, I thought, "Wow, I'm a clown." The next stroke, it looked worse than a mushroom head.

I remained still as I rolled my eyeballs to see the strands of hair flaked down, slowly and gradually, it turned into falling thick chunks of hair. Shifting my view back the to mirror, my once black head, now had patches of Grey. This process was pretty fast, 5 to 10 mins and the job was clean and done.

Now as you imagine my face, what do you see? Is it the same as this?

(haha... just something extra)

That's right, I'm a hairless lad now.

I prayed for good weather, a weather that will be sunny, hot, and without rain. I thank God for this, it was great! However, I realised that God's blessing was overwhelming, so much that the brightness of the sun limit my view to only 'left-right-down' and the hellish heat made me ooze droplets of sweat out of every pore on the surface of my skin. As I squinted my eyes against the sunlight, I thought, "this is what I want, man". I was so wrong. The sand, I felt like stepping on a pile of burning charcoal. Together with its sharpness, my sole experienced the path of fiery needles.

I stood on the beach volleyball court, with my black slippers waiting for the other team to serve the ball. Reluctant to move out of my spot, I allowed Chong wei to do most of the receiving. Every move I made was torturing, within seconds, I must return to my comfortable spot. This restricted us from making better plays. so today's volleyball session was not that good.

'Waterpolo-captain's ball'? It was a nice idea. Almost everyone was involved and it was fun to play. I get to cool my over heated body in the cool salt water.

All these events of games and tanning contributed to the fun today, but these are not suppose to be the main highlight of the day. What was important was Si Ying's birthday! A surprise was organised for her. After the shower, We all met up and celebrated her birthday. I hope that would be memorable for her.

The day most hope for. || Back to top

2 days ago was the happiest day of this year for most people. It's the end of the major exam! But some of us might be worried over our results. For me, my training resumes, and that includes the 3 times a week "air alert", which was temporarily stopped for a few days this week for the sake of exam papers and I'm about to start the work out right after this entry is posted.

I'm not sure about other schools, but for mine, school days resume next Wednesday. I'm definitely going to take these few days off to enjoy myself. You guys should to. Exams are over, so don't get too stressed about how you've done.

Well, I just want to wish all people celebrating Deepavali a happy Deepavali lieu celebration. :D

Heat Gone Down || Back to top

12 Sep to 2 Oct, Wow! what a long time. Exams, air alert, and homework took away my time to post on the net. I finally found this moment when I can share with you guys about my life again.

Yesterday was English paper 1, today Chinese, fortunately, the next exam is a week later. I just want to thank God for helping me in my Chinese letter writings and compositions. All I did was vomiting out whatever I had sardine-d in my brain.

Something bad also happened today. My house had no water. It convinced me that indeed "Water means life". Not only my family suffered, the whole block in my condo experienced a temporary "Urban Drought". It was really troublesome. Even with "no water" in mind, automatically, I never failed to put my hands under the tap, hoping that water would gush out. obviously it went otherwise. Maid got to go down to the car park to collect water from the tap. I guess this is really the right time to learn house to save water.

Besides that, When I was in school, I felt all sleepy and tired, as if I was wearing a heavy mask on my face, pulling my skin downwards. I came back home and saw a figure- 38.1. Guess what was that? It was the temperature of my body. Shocked, I tried checking my temperature repeatedly, but the figures just went up and up. By the time I reached the clinic, the numbers hit 38.6. while I waited for my turn, I prayed continuously, so did my friends. After eating dinner, I came home, and the temperature dropped to 37.5. Now, as I post this entry, it has gone down to 36.8. Thank God for taking away the fever. :D
