Height growth || Back to top

In this week, I faced many challenges. Mostly, tests. I'm still in the midst of it but on Monday, while I was having my P.E, I realised something cool about myself. I grew by 2 cm. To me, this was Great news as it showed that I am still growing and hopefully will continue to grow constantly in future. I have approximately achieved my short-termed goal, I guess, which was having a height of 184.8cm, estimated as 185cm. I wished that I could grow maybe 5 cm taller? For now, I just want to thank God for this and I pray that He will bless me even more. :D

Anyway, my brother and I started this workout program called 'Air Alert'. We're on the 5th week now and the workouts were just burning our legs. I would say it not only trains your physical abilities, but your mentality- the ability to stay willed on doing this thing. It's cool because it helped increased my vertical leap. We both started dunking in my school's sheltered court rim, which is a little shorter than the actual one. Still, it was sensational, at the same time, it motivated us to continue this torturing workout program. It's nice to see our effort paid off, but of course, there are still more to come. This thus links back to the title of my blog, 'DUNK- height doesn't matter', so Those who are not as tall, consider this workout. It's good.

What A Racial Harmonious Day. || Back to top

Despite 3/6, my class, having only about 3 days to plan and prepare everything before the actual celebration of NDP cum RHD, I'm just proud to say that my classmates had done an good, excellent, fantastic, outstanding, cool, amazing, superb, eyes-shocking, unbelievable job. Even i myself did not expect such a miracle.

For the past few days, my classmates and I struggled to plan a story line, dance moves, and a 'choir'. It was good that the main stuffs like dancing were in good progress within 2 days or so, however, we had trouble getting the majority of our classmates to perform on stage. Each individual wanted to do their own things, but with the help of the leadership from friends and form teacher, we finally manage to get majority of our classmates to get their butt on stage.

Of course, everyone is not perfect, but the thing that shocks you is that my classmates worked close to perfection within a short time. leaders of this performance also continued to plan more interesting things like singing in a group (choir) with edited lyrics about racial harmony. Moreover, they further improved the storyline, dance moves, and most importantly the coordination of the whole skid after a horrible performance during the last rehearsal on Wednesday.

Well, our class practiced everyday after school till 6 plus, sometimes in the morning before school starts. It was obviously tiring, but we persevered and finally performed unimaginably well today to the crowd of audience. We Won first for this mini competition but truly, I enjoyed performing the best I could, and also watching other classes perform especially 3/7. They did really well too. This celebration is one of my best moments in unity sec.

Hopefully when i get some pictures and videos, I can show you some details of our performance.

Praise God for the great success!
