Today, team unity challenged new town in basketball and we didn't lose badly cause we WON! The game just now was just satisfying. Having no regrets in the game just only not putting any balls in the hoop, same goes for my brother. The game was rough or rather, extremely violent such that one of their players got injured. -.-? Majority of our scores were from the three point shots. We were losing by about 6 points or so during the first few mins of the first quarter, but we caught up and then led the score, and we led all the way. i have to say defense today was rather good. Many of the shots made by the sharp shooters of the other team missed partly because of our defense. The rebounds today were not bad too, except that i have to break the habit of bringing the ball low after an offensive rebound. Talkin about violence, i suffered a hit from the opponent on my tooth with a swing of the elbow when i won one of the rebounds from him. Other teammates probably experienced painer or serious injuries ( ask them yourself). The most important thing is that the night before, i asked God to let us have a good court with good grip, fair referees, teamwork in our team, high morale, and protection, and all these were met today. we had a good court, had fair referees, better teamwork, high morale and protection- dont really have serious injuries. Thank God for these. Beating New Town today is however, just the beginning. The following match against jurong is the one that truly determines whether we are in or out of this round 2 in west zone. Wish you all had a good valentine day today. For me, i dont celebrate Valentine, and i kind of dont really make presents and do some 'mushy' stuff like giving flowers? But those who gave me presents, thank you, those who had received presents, bless you, and to those who did not receive any presents, blessings, etc, dont feel down, Jesus loves you and God bless you.

-Back to Post Saw those dunks from the previous post? well, i can to the real one there. ok... giving you some updates on our progress in the round 1 basketball season in the west. round one of the west zone competition has just eneded today, beating boon lay sec with the score of 87 to 26. this is the fifth game we had played and we won all of the previous games. I think my teammates and i played the best so far for today's game. There is this common thing in every game i played. Idont know why it keeps happening and that is making the game "entertaining". Becoming blur and attempting to score own goals and trying a alley oop pass with a "chop" even before the ball reaches to my teammate's hands. Fortunately, today's one wasn't too embarrassing... LOL! For todays game, i've made fast breaks, drive ins, jumpshot, rebounds plus under basket and the Alley oop assisted by remus. alright, i'll be expecting more of my team to be better in skills, teamwork and communication, so i'll appreciate it if you guys give Unity sec your support. hehe.
