Back from Taiwan! || Back to top

Hi guys!

It's been super long since I posted an entry... again, but seriously, I'm always packed with events and activities, such as GOING TO TAIWAN for 5 days. I just returned recently and am exceedingly glad to be able to go for the Singapore U17/ YOG training tour 2010. I just want to thank God for giving me this opportunity.

From this trip, I certainly learned a lot. It was just amazing to be able to watch and play with the Taiwanese there. They are obviously better than us and by having games with them really allowed us to learn much from them. Their speed, aggression and attitude was admirable. This trip also showed individual players where they stand. For me, there is still so much to learn and improve. Working towards improvement, I really hope God will help me become a better player and an athlete.

Besides basketball, there were quite a lot of time for us to shop and eat, but of course, basketball is priority. There were shops there were not bad but I think I enjoyed their food and service. Foods like "臭豆腐” (smelly bean curd), Taiwanese deep fried chicken snack, beef noodles were appetizing. They are also famous for their bubble tea. one of my favourites is the Yakult green tea flavour. It was the first time I tasted something like that. Another good thing about Taiwan is that they have good service. I could see that they really serve you with their heart, even if you leave after testing the clothes, they won't go "what a waste of time...".

Well, ultimately, this trip is about having an experience with with the Taiwanese players. After experiencing it, the next step is action. I'm to strive to improve! :D
