The days past... and my leg becomes stronger. Now, although I'm able to play ball like usual, some phobia stuff still hinders me from boxing out in a game. For example, today my team played with pierce sec. the players were tough and buff, and whenever i do a box out, i was afraid that the guy might break my leg. But this thought is removed from my head already. First quarter, i kind of became angry and frustrated cause i the pierce players fouled me like crazy and my coach (which is also their coach) didn't blow the whistle. After that, i manage to do some "self talk" and played how i wanted to play later. Left about 1 week to my check up for my leg, which by then will be 3 months, which means my ankle will be fully recovered (hopefully). the swell at my ankle has subsided and hopefully it will subside even more. Tournaments are ahead of me and just gonna get stronger physically, mentally and skillfully. Labels: God protects my leg. |
