It's a new year and the first week of the year is about to end. Time flies real quickly. Before I start with the Big thanks, I want to share a little testimony this evening. It was really late when I was on my way home from school. About 8 plus. Then I said a little prayer in my heart that the bus would leave from the interchange exactly at the time I reached the bus queue. When I had reached, the driver horned the bus to signal the passengers to hop in. Thank God for that. Time for the main thing. As all basketball players know, the annual season will start soon. Being in the YOG squad (a group of basketball players selected to be selected again in the future for the final YOG team), there was kind of an argument whether to allow players representing any sport in YOG to play in any of the inter-school competition. It was really a difficult time for me when the decision was made that all players involved in any YOG team could not play for the school. Especially when this is my last year. Fortunately, I think they held another meeting to discuss the matter. I prayed and asked God to make a way and that whatever the result I will trust in Him that it is best for me. The result was finally out and three of our school players involved in the YOG squad, including my bro and I, could play in the inter-school competition. I thank God for that and trust that His plan is the best for me. Jeremiah 29: 11- For I know they plans I have for you", declares the Lord, " plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV) |
